Who owes what
The main documents under the 2024 Regulations and the duty holder responsible for each.

Where the client is a domestic client, certain client duties pass to the contractor or designer (reg 9). If the client fails to appoint a PCWD or PCWC on a multi-contractor project, the client carries those duties (reg 7(3)).
PCWD: principal construction work designer. PCWC: principal construction work contractor.
